Coconut Oil Properties
The oil seeps through the skin keeping the skin soft, smooth, and moist.
Coconut oil is a stable oil. This is because of it’s reasonable concentration of medium-chain fatty acids.
When the therapist uses coconut oil in the massage it is best to leave it in for a while. It will soon leave the client’s skin feeling soft and non greasy. Coconut massage oil easily penetrates the skin.
The layer of stable saturated fats that forms on the skin prevents the escape of moisture and protects the skin from drying and cracking.
Coconut oil is rich in vitamin-E which is your skin’s best friend. Vitamen E keeps your skin rejuvenated, young, and healthy.
Coconut massage oil is also good as a carrier oil for herbal extracts or essential oils.
